Every ABLE leather bag is named after a woman our team is inspired by. This minimal and beautiful tote is named after an inspiring member of our factory team, someone able to step into dignified work because of what we have all built together. When this tote was first introduced in 2014, it was a no brainer to name it after Mamuye (pronounced MUH-MOO-YAY), a woman exemplifying perseverance, compassion and joy. 

The tote that started it all, Mamuye is designed to move with you through a modern, hybrid life from work to gym, school drop-off to dinner out, and everything in between. Spacious enough for a 16" laptop and daily essentials, it’s intentionally minimal to style with any look. Functional and comfortable straps make this your go-to bag you’ll reach for again and again.

Now available in two leather finishes, our classic premium pull-up leather, which softens and develops character over time, and our pebbled leather, chosen for its elevated texture and everyday resilience. Each bag is crafted from high-quality leather and finished by skilled hands, made to be loved and enjoyed for years to come.
